Grace Orchard School – Jointly with West Coast Family Life, West Coast CSC and West Coast INC – Distribution of 200 stationary bags to special need students under Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) – 07/01/2022

Welcome back to School! January 2022
Grace Orchard School is a special education school that caters to students aged seven to 18 who have been diagnosed with mild intellectual disability and those with mild autism spectrum disorders. The school provides basic literacy, numeracy and life skills to its students. There are about 450 students, out of which about 200 receive financial assistance under MOE’s FAS scheme. The students are usually in the IQ range of 45-70 and there is an attempt to make them employable in the formal job market.

Due to the COVID SMM, we couldn’t interact with the children directly. So Ms Assajeddah, the student representative received our Goodie bags and distributed them to the students.
