Community Care

ITSCommunityCare, the Organisation behind Stories of Integration

About the ITSCommunityCare (ITSCC)

ITSCommunityCare (ITSCC) is an initiative that aims to reach out to various groups in Singapore. We promote social integration and community engagement by reaching out to various sections of the society to create an inclusive society. We also reach out and support to lower income groups during festive seasons and celebrate festivals with them. We also organize projects to promote environmental sustainability and encourage residents to do more about climate change through Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

The ITSCC has been registered with ROS (MHA) in 2020 as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO). We have a group of over 50 volunteers from diverse background and most of them are PMET and professionals. We as a team is working closely and supporting The Sunshine Trust in their Single Parent Project and hopefully the team will able to contribute to this meaningful project in the long run.

An Introduction to The Sunshine Trust:

The Sunshine Trust was incorporated in 2020 and is registered under the Ministry of Social and Family Development. The trust would like to offer assistance in the fields of education, single parents and medical needs to those in need. In education, the trust is working with the Singapore Management University and has created bursaries for 8 students to help them fund their studies for the full duration of their 4-year courses. These funds are an outright grant and do not come in the form of loans or bonds of any kind. The managing trustee of Sunshine Trust gives these funds with a request that going forward, the receiver sponsors or assists another student with a similar amount towards education.
